Forest and grasslands are the 2 main ecosystems limiting global warming thanks to their capacities to store carbon. Sap flow is one of the key process to mitigate climate. It first allows the photosynthesis and, then the transport of the sugars to the carbon sink. A better understanding of these flow and their variations in response of a climatic stress is of high importance to make sure that these ecosystems can continue to play their role.
