Academic Coordinator - NMR and Optical Spectroscopy - University of California, Riverside

The Analytical Chemistry Instrumentation Facility (ACIF) invites applications for a career-level Academic Coordinator position in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Optical Spectroscopies. The Academic Coordinator will provide leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of the NMR and Optical Facilities. The Academic Coordinator must be an expert in NMR spectroscopy, have a working knowledge of optical spectroscopy instrumentation, and maintain current awareness of the most recent advances in the fields of NMR and Optical spectroscopy and their applications. It is the duty of the Academic Coordinator to ensure the smooth operations of all aspects of the facilities to ensure high quality, timely, and affordable analyses for all researchers. A PhD in chemistry (or closely aligned field) and demonstrated excellence in teaching and laboratory management is required.
