Core Laboratory Manager

The Division of Research & Innovation at the University of North Texas HealthScience Center is seeking to hire a Core Laboratory Manager who will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the newly established state-of-the-art Preclinical Imaging Core. This requires regular maintenance of advanced scientific instrumentation while streamlining procedures to assist researchers with newly available techniques in HSC. The individual is expected to utilize their expertise to ensure that studies are performed to the required scientific, regulatory, and client standards in accordance with HSC protocols while adhering to state and federal guidelines. The employee will be expected to liaise with team members from other core labs, as well as DLAM and IACUC staff to provide quality service while working closely with students, faculty, and external clients. The Laboratory Manager will also supervise the Research Associate responsible for managing the daily operations of the Microscopy Core. They will direct and guide the Research Associate in their performance.
