PhD position in "Nuclear magneto-optic spectroscopy" at the University of Oulu

We have an open position for a doctoral student in the NMR research unit at the University of Oulu, Finland. We are looking for a highly motivated student interested in working in the field of experimental and/or theoretical nuclear magneto-optic spectroscopy. The NMOS project combines building of novel instrumentation, running proof-of-concept experiments along with studies on various materials of interest as well as using quantum chemistry to predict the observed parameters and gain insight into the molecular properties, so students with varied backgrounds in physics, chemistry or materials science can be considered.

 

The position is for four years and includes full salary along with occupational health care and benefits of Nordic welfare state (such as access to high-quality public affordable childcare services).
