PhD Scholarship - Nanoscale Organisation and Dynamics Group, University of Western Sydney, Australia

·         The scholarship will provide a tax free stipend of $30,000 per annum for up to 3 years.

·         Campbelltown Campus, University of Western Sydney, Sydney, Australia

The successful applicant will undertake a project to develop MRI techniques to map the chemical composition of biological tissue, in order to minimise or even replace the use of X rays (particularly computed tomography or CT) in treatment planning for external beam radiation therapy cancer treatments. Such techniques may also have applications in improved diagnostic imaging.
