Postdoc position - Breeze lab, Astbury Centre, Leeds University, UK


A 2-year postdoc position is available in the lab of Prof Alexander Breeze at the Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology, University of Leeds, to work on NMR, biophysical and crystallographic studies of compound binding to a cancer drug target. The project is a collaboration with medicinal chemistry colleagues in Newcastle University, and is funded by the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund (UK).


You will have access to the outstanding £17M facilities of the Astbury BioStructure Laborarory, which include a new 950 MHz (with TXO cryoprobe optimized for direct C/N detection) and fully upgraded cryoprobe-equipped 600 and 750 MHz Bruker AV III HD spectrometers, as well as two new FEI Titan Krios Cryo-EMs.
