postdoc/researcher position available

A postdoc/researcher position is available in my lab:

https://www.uu.se/en/about-uu/join-us/details/?positionId=198777

The successfull candidate will work on a project that aims the development of small molecular metallo-beta-lactamase inhibitors. The specific task of the researcher will be the NMR spectroscopic investigation of protein-ligand interactions and the determination of the binding site and binding mode of small molecular inhibitors as well as assignation of proteins.

He/she will be part of a 15-18 membered interdisciplinary team located at the Biomedical Centre at Uppsala University, and will have direct access to Bruker Neo 600 MHz and 500 MHz spectrometers equipped with TCI and TXO cryoprobes, two 400 MHz Varian NMR spectrometers, and if needed will run experiments at the Swedish NMR Centre (900, 800, 700, 600, 500).

At the evaluation of the applicants experience with protein expression, purification, and isotope-labelling for NMR will be considered as an advantage. Documented experience with multidimensional NMR spectroscopy, protein NMR, NMR-based conformational and ensemble analysis, paramagnetic NMR, extensive experience with NMR hardware and software (Bruker), and with computational molecular modeling are strong merits for this employment.
