Summer school   “Theory of NMR”   at Schloss Windischleuba   27th March - 2nd April 2022

There will be a summer school (if situation allows) on the Theory of NMR at Youth hostel Schloss Windischleuba (40 km South of Leipzig/Germany) from Sun/27 March (evening) to Sat/2 April (morning) 2022.  The school is the first in a cycle of four schools and will be dedicated to general NMR topics:  Quantum mechanics of NMR and EPR, relaxation, spin interactions, density operator formalism, product operator formalism, simulation software "Simpson", solid-state NMR: MAS and CP, decoupling and recoupling, multidimensional experiments, hyperpolarization.

Invited are MSc and PhD students as well as postdocs from all over the world.

Teachers: Tatyana Polenova (Univ. Delaware), Christian Bengs (Univ. Southampton), Gunnar Jeschke, (ETH Zürich), Madhu (TIFR Hyderabad), Paul Schanda (IST Austria), Zdeněk Tošner (Charles Univ. Prague).

Fee for participation = 420 EUR.
Entire program, teaching materials, excursion, food and full accommodation are included.
Participants pay for transport by themself.
For travelers from far, with generous support of ISMAR, we might provide a grant by dropping the fee for participation.

Max number of students = 45.
Deadline for application = Sun 31 Oct. 2021.
Decision on participation within a month.
Participants are expected to stay the full period.
