Research Workshop of the Israel Science Foundation The 1st Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Sea Region Countries Mass Spectrometry Workshop October 17-22, 2010 Weizmann Institute, Rehovot, Israel

The 1st Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Sea Region Mass Spectrometry Workshop intends to gather scientists from these regions to discuss the variety of topics in mass spectrometry. It shall focus on mass spectrometry insights into proteomics, metabolomics, analytical chemistry, forensic studies, quantitation analysis and also span a wide area of applications.

The focus of this meeting is on the scientific exchange and disseminating of information on different aspects of Mass Spectrometry. We encourage discussion of established methodology, unusual applications, as well as creative and innovative approaches and techniques. The workshop format includes oral and poster sessions with an emphasis on informal discussion.
