AWARD MECHANISM: BRF Foundation Supports collaboration between Jordanian and Israeli scientists on research related to the Middle East. This fellowship is given yearly to 2 Israeli and 2 Jordanian post doctoral scholars in order to develop high level regionally significant scientific research as well as collaborative international relationships. The Fellowship is for a period of two years. SCIENTIFIC AREAS: The BRF Fellowship Seeks two Israeli Scholars to complete advanced research on either the Microbiology or Biodiversity of the shared desert region on the borders of Jordan and Israel. Significant research experience in microbiology, biodiversity, zoology or ecology is preferred.
