A major gift by the Morris and Rosalind Goodman Foundation of Canada for the Rothschild-Weizmann Program for Excellence in Science Teaching was celebrated at the International Board in November 2018.
In its first 10 years, the Rothschild-Weizmann Program has awarded 253 new master’s degrees to science teachers; the program enriches the scientific knowledge and pedagogical skills of active science teachers across Israel.
Shawna Goodman Stone, daughter of Morris and Rosalind, spoke eloquently at the ceremony about the family’s commitment to Israel and education.
