Research fellows are an important force behind successful Weizmann Institute studies. As skilled technological and methodological experts, research fellows support the work of the principal investigator, and may also pursue independent scientific investigations. Their insights and expertise in operating very advanced technologies improve technological capabilities and methodologies, for the benefit of the entire scientific community.

This novel area of philanthropic activity at the Weizmann Institute promotes scientific excellence by singling out, recognizing, and investing in the most outstanding research fellows.
