Prof. Lia Addadi in Zurich

The Swiss Society of Friends of the Weizmann Institute of Science, chaired by Eric Stupp, hosted its Annual Weizmann Lecture in Zurich on November 26 at the University of Zurich.

Prof. Lia Addadi from the Department of Structural Biology described her research in a talk entitled “Biomineralization: Hundreds of million years of futuristic technologies and pathologies” to about 200 guests.

Elia Weber spoke about his experiences at the Dr. Bessie F. Lawrence International Summer Science Institute (ISSI) in 2019. He was one of six high school graduates who had been sponsored by the Swiss Society for their participation at the ISSI at the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot, Israel.

The Swiss Society was delighted and honored to welcome Prof. Roee Ozeri, the new Vice President for Resource Development at the Weizmann Institute.
