Fire and ants

About 150 young executives, members of the Young Club of the Israeli Friends, gathered at the Zappa Club in Herzliya for a WeizmannVibe event on Oct. 30, where they heard a lecture by Dr. Ofer Feinerman of the Department of Physics of Complex Systems. Dr. Feinerman, who studies the complex world of ants, described the social intricacies of the ant colony and even managed to break a widely-known myth about the ant’s work ethic. Musician Danny Sanderson gave a performance of his biggest hits.
