Friends of WeizmannVibe—the Next Generation Science Club met at Zappa in Herzliya in an event sponsored by the Swiss bank Pictet, to hear a talk by Dr. Tom Ran, a computer science graduate from the Weizmann Institute. Dr. Ran talked about the development of biological computers that can be used within the human body, about bacteria engineered to treat disease, and other topics. Club members were treated to stand-up comedy by Guri Alfi.
