Weizmann-Pasteur gala dinner

Weizmann France held a dinner on December 4 in Paris for Pasteur-Weizmann collaborative research, in the presence of Prof. Alon Chen, the 11th President of the Weizmann Institute of Science,. Nearly 400 guests were in attendance, including former Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve, Baron Eric de Rothschild, Sidney and Katya Toledano, Marc-Antoine Jamet, Edmond Cohen, Sami Sagol, Judith and Alain Milgrom, Pascal and Ilana Mantoux, Claude Solarz and Sydney Ohana.

The event was held at the recently restored Pavilion Gabriel. The guests celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Weizmann Institute of Science and the 45th anniversary of the Pasteur-Weizmann Council.

 

Julien Clerc gave an exceptional recital in the presence of many scientists, including Nobel Prize winners Profs. Claude Cohen-Tannoudji and Serge Haroche, Pasteur Institute Presiden, Prof. Stewart Cole; Administrator of the Collège de France Prof. Thomas Römer; President of the Institut Curie Prof. Thierry Philip; and former President of Polytechnique Prof. Jacques Biot.

 

The event was sponsored by LVMH, Orange, Peugeot, Engie, Pernod-Ricard, and L’Oreal, Pierre-Bergé, Ales Group, Iris Finance, Labocast, this special evening was animated by Marie Drucker and Agathe Lecaron, TV journalists. Led by Maurice Lévy, President of Weizmann France, the evening was under the patronage of the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron.
