The Weizmann women in chemistry (WWIC) is a student forum for women in all stages of their scientific career in the department of chemistry. Our goal is to promote, encourage and expand the horizons of women in pursuit of professional careers in science, by building a supportive community and providing a variety of programs.
Our monthly-base meetings include:
- Professional development workshops – provide practical tools and develop leadership skills, confidence and management skills.
- Inspiring talks from leading speakers (both women and men) about topics such as work-life balance and personal stories.
- Providing a platform for open dialog on selected topics.
- Recreational activities.

Dear all, We are pleased to invite you to a festive lunch for renewing the activity of the women’s forum. The Women in Chemistry (WIC) is a student forum for women in all stages of their scientific career in the Department of Chemistry. Our goal is to promote, encourage, and expand thehorizons of women in pursuit of professional careers in science, by building a social and professional network and providing a variety of programs. Come meet us on the lawn in front of the Kimmelman building at 12:00 on Tuesday, December 22nd. We’ll have lunch, introduce ourselves and get to know you, hear an uplifting talk from Dr. Meytal Eran-Jona, Gender, Diversity and Development Adviser of the Weizmann Institute, and of course finish with a special dessert..
