About the position

The Development Scientist will execute a variety of tasks to transfer our product from design to  manufacturing. This high-impact role requires a professional with deep understanding in the product development and it’s manufacturing processes. The successful candidate must excel in learning on the fly, can switch between planning, analyzing, supporting, and managing multiple tasks, and all while collaborating with cross-functional teams both internally and externally. The candidate must be highly motivated, exceptionally independent, and full of passion to execute complex development and testing tasks, including: prototyping, feasibility testing, system integration, product application and supporting the transfer of the design to a small scale manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute tests as part of the product development plan; as part of shifting the product from design verification (DV) to a CE mark and FDA approved product in a medium scale manufacturing setup.

• Support the design and R&D team with feasibility testing (setup and perform the tests and provide design inputs to the development team)

• Document all tests performed, in collaboration with the QA / RA manager.

• Produce test plans, protocols, and test reports documentation according to the company standard and medical device quality standards (ISO13485).

• Support QA and RA efforts, including the development of the manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in leading a scientific study, including: plan, prepare, setup and perform tests, preferably in the field of Molecular Biology.

• A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with a relevant working experience or Master of Science (M.Sc.), in the field of Molecular Biology.

• Experience in working in a regulated environment (e.g. ISO 13485), is an advantage.

• Excellent English and Hebrew, both speaking and writing.

• Full proficiency in MS office / Google drive and any type of ERP management tool.

• Excellent organizational skills and analytical mindset.

• Technical orientation and troubleshooting skills is an advantage.

This is a full-time position

Location: Tel Aviv until Q3 2021. Rehovot-Ashdod from mid 2021
