Contact Center for Israeli Researchers

Have you registered with The Israel Academy’s CONTACT CENTER?

The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities maintains a Contact Center whose principal purpose is to help Israeli researchers abroad find suitable positions in Israel’s academic community.

The Center was established in 2007 in response to concerns about Israel’s brain drain and to the expressed wish of many researchers abroad to return to Israel, if they can find appro- priate, challenging academic positions. The Academy set out to broach their situation with the authorities and to provide concrete help to researchers in their specific areas of concern.

The Contact Center collects up-to-date information on available positions in Israel’s institutions of higher learning and sends it to researchers according to their fields of specialization. Recently, the Center’s information resources were extended to academic colleges as well.
