National Project for Returning Israeli Academicians

The National Council for Research and Development has initiated a program to locate and repatriate scientists and engineers residing abroad to the ranks of Israeli industry, academia, and the government sector. |
One of the first steps it has taken is to locate academicians living abroad. To this end the Council, in cooperation with the Ministry of Science, is preparing a database with occupational information on overseas academicians that includes: profession, specialty, sector in which they are active, etc.
The purpose of the database is to strengthen ties with Israeli academicians residing abroad, identify their occupational needs so that the country can prepare the necessary infrastructure and direct R&D investments, and assist them in finding work in Israel.
This website will also be used to provide guidance for returning academicians ahead of their reintegration in Israel.
