Gene Therapy Unit at Sheba Medical Center is looking for highly qualified scientist for neuronal disorder research

The Wohl Institute for Translational Medicine at the Sheba Medical Center is seeking an energetic and highly motivated scientist to join our gene therapy development program for treatment of rare diseases.

The Sheba Medical Center is home to leading research centers, integrating basic and translational research across a broad spectrum of medical disciplines. Our multidisciplinary research teams of clinical investigators, scientists, physicians and academia strive to transform the latest breakthroughs in science and technology into new solutions that improve patient care and save lives.

We are currently in the process of forging a new exciting unit dedicated to gene editing and oligonucelotide- based therapeutics for rare diseases. Our main interest lies in the deciphering of novel genetic and epigenetic mechanisms affecting gene expression and their implication in neuronal disorders, and in using these mechanisms for tailored treatments for patients.
