1. Introduction:
1a. Stars, galaxies, radiation backgrounds;
1b. High energy cosmic-rays & neutrinos- puzzles & prospects of new detectors.
2. Basics of radiative processes:
Bremsstrahlung, Synchrotron and inverse-Compton emission/absorption, plasma effects.
3. Basics of relativistic hydrodynamics:
Characteristics and Riemann invariants, 1D flows, discontinuities, self-similarity.
4. Fermi acceleration.
5. Applications: Accretion onto black holes, Gamma-ray bursts, high energy particles.
