The Weizmann Institute of Science deeply mourns the passing of Prof. Sidney D. Drell, pioneering physicist, longtime supporter and beloved friend, Life Member of its International Boardand past Chairman of the Scientific and Academic Advisory Committee. Recipient of the Institute’s PhD honoris causa in 2001.
We extends our profound condolences to his wife Harriet, and his children Daniel, Persis, and Joanna.
