DESCRIPTION:<p>Over the last decades, the study of&nbsp;microbial&nbsp;physiology&nbsp;has been&nbsp;invigorated by technological advances and improved mathematical and&nbsp;biophysical models.&nbsp;In&nbsp;particular, single-cell and single-molecule&nbsp;measurements have allowed understanding at a finer resolution, often&nbsp;accompanied by conceptual breakthroughs and novel stochastic models.</p>

<p>This&nbsp;interdisciplinary&nbsp;workshop&nbsp;will bring together experimentalists&nbsp;and theorists, physicists, biologists, mathematicians and engineers,&nbsp;working on a diverse set of problems&nbsp;involving&nbsp;stochasticity&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;context of&nbsp;microbial&nbsp;growth, growth-arrest and gene expression.</p>
