The projects usually require some analytical and numerical background in solving
ordinary/partial differential equations and some acquaintance with
statistical thermodynamics concepts and tools. The projects focus on
basic theoretical questions, but are usually driven by experiments
and/or computer simulations done in other groups. Currently available projects include:
1. Glass physics and amorphous plasticity
2. Dislocation-mediated plasticity
3. Mechanics of biomaterials
