Suppression of Tc in superconducting amorphous wires.
The figure displays a comparison between the theory and experimental data for wires of different widths. The short-range effects are excluded, assuming that they are the same as in 2D. For all widths one fitting parameter is used, extracted from 2D films. Phys. Rev. Lett., 83, 191, (1999).
