Due to road construction work taking place at the northern entrance to Rehovoth near the train station, please find below several instructions relating to how to access the WIS during the week of the ESPMI VII:

Participants who are staying at the Leonardo Hotel:

A bus with an ESPMI VII sign on it will pick you up from the hotel entrance, take you to the Weizmann Institute of Science and return you to the hotel in the afternoons.

The schedule is as follows:

Sunday 28.4

09:35 Departure from the hotel (the bus will depart at 09:40).
*On the first day, Ms. Shira Weismann, a student from Prof. Kronik’s group, will meet you at the hotel lobby and direct you to the bus.

19:45 Return from the WIS (after the get-together dinner).

Monday 29.4

08:30 Departure from the hotel.
17:30 Return from the WIS.

Tuesday 30.4
08:30 Departure from the hotel.

*No return bus due to trip to Jerusalem.

Wednesday 1.5
08:30 Departure from the hotel.
17:30 Return from the WIS.

Thursday 2.5
08:30 Departure from the hotel.
18:00 Return from the WIS.

Participants who are arriving by train:

Please exit the train station on the southern side. The small pedestrian turnstile gate to the WIS across from the train station and slightly to the east will be open on Sunday 28.4 from 09:00-11:00 and Monday (29.4) through Thursday (2.5) from 8:00-9:30.
A guard will posted there and you will need to identify yourselves/present your conference tag to be allowed in (Please note, that you will not be able to use this gate to enter and exit the WIS in other hours of the day as it requires the use of a special card).

Afternoons: Please exit via the WIS main gate or the old Bloch gate, turn right on Hertzl street and continue walking towards the new bridge over the railway tracks. Turn left on the bridge and walk down towards the railway station (about 10 min. walk).

Participants who are arriving by car (please note that we encourage our guests to use public transportation):

Please identify yourselves at the WIS main gate or at the old-Bloch gate and you will be allowed into the WIS (it is also possible to enter via the other gates).
Please note, that parking spaces are very limited around the campus, therefore we advise you to allow enough time for this.

*All participants can enter and exit the campus via the main gate and the old/Bloch gate freely during week of the conference and upon presenting the conference tag/other means of identification.
