Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to invite you to the 5th Congress of the Federation of the Israel Societies for Experimental Biology – FISEB (ILANIT) - to be held January 28–31, 2008, in Eilat.
ILANIT meetings have become a major scientific event, bringing together scientists and students to celebrate the life sciences in Israel. ILANIT, a federation of many societies, focuses on a broad spectrum of biological research; its major objective is to create a forum to promote scientific dialogue and interaction between researchers in universities, research institutes, hospitals and science-based industries throughout Israel. Previous ILANIT meetings demonstrated the high quality of life science research in our country and we believe that our next meeting will strengthen this trend.
We plan to continue our tradition of subsidizing registration fees for students and post-doctoral fellows presenting their work.
The last ILANIT congress was attended by 1,600 participants and we are expecting a similar number at the 5th congress. To accommodate the large number of participants, the sessions will be divided among three hotels in Eilat: the Herods Forum, the Dan Eilat and the Royal Beach. The ‘Pavilion’, the new large hall at the Herods Forum will be used for plenary sessions.
Please adhere to the deadlines for submission of abstracts as well as early registration, in order to facilitate our preparations for the congress.
We look forward to welcoming you to the 5th ILANIT Congress and to witnessing the strengthening of scientific and personal ties amongst the participants.
| Yours sincerely, |
