Welcome Letter
Past research efforts have mapped the critical cellular and molecular players of the immune system in a depth and complexity unprecedented when compared to other biological systems. Collectively, these studies revealed that innate and adaptive immune cells pass during development and maturation multiple critical checkpoints requiring specific fate decisions to ensure their proper function in the context of ensuing immune responses.
For this symposium we gathered leading experts to discuss recent advances in our understanding of the epigenetic control of cell identities, plasticity maintenance and immune cell communication with their surrounding.
We welcome interested scientists to participate in the meeting on Decisions in the Life of Immune cells, November 26-27, 2012, at the Weizmann Institute of Science. This symposium is meant to stimulate cross-talk between scientists involved in multi-disciplinary immunological research and boost the communication with Israeli Universities.
Looking forward to see you, the organizers (Idit Shachar & Steffen Jung)
Meeting attendance is free of charge, but we would like to ask interested parties for advance registration.
