Transition Metal Chalcogenide and Halide Nanostructures 2010

25-27 of April 2010
Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel

Scope

Transition metal chalcogenides form interesting nanostructures, both inorganic nanotubes, fullerene-likes, nanowires and other nanostructures.

The research in this field opens the door to a wide world of insights regarding their basic structure and properties as well as their applications as building blocks in the nano-scale regime, catalysts, lubricants and nano-composites. Moreover, other layered materials provide broader view, complimentary information as well as new ideas which are applicable to the transition metal chalcogenides.

In this workshop we will discuss the latest results and future trends in this field.
