It is a multidisciplinary research center for basic science with about 450 scientists, 300 postdoctoral fellows, and 1000 Ph.D. and M.Sc. students.
Three Nobel laureates and three Turing Award laureates have been associated with the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Weizmann Institute of Science ranks tenth in the world, (the only Institute outside the USA on the top 10 list) based on CWTS Leiden Ranking (2015).
