Registration

The conference registration fees include conference meals (lunch and dinner) as well as outdoor social activities, excluding the "Sunrise trip to Masada" which is optional.

Deadline for early registration: March 1st, 2019, thereafter a nominal increase will apply

A pre-conference satellite mini-symposium will be held on Sunday April 7th at the Weizmann Institute. This symposium is free but online registration is required.

 

Accommodation  

We advise you to book your accommodation as soon as possible as rooms are limited in number.

We offer three grades of accomodation. The exact prices of the various hotels/rooms will be displayed in the conference registration form depending on the selected type of room.

 

Ein Gedi Kibbutz Hotel

The Kibbutz Hotel is the WCNH2019 onsite venue. It has a great location, just a 5-minute drive from the Dead Sea. Free entrance is available to Ein Gedi's private beach and the nearby spa's mineral pools. Free private parking is available on site.

Rooms at the Ein Gedi Kibbutz Hotel are in the rich botanical gardens. Guests can use in-room tea/coffee-making facilities and a TV with satellite channels.

The hotel features beautiful views of the surrounding streams, hills, desert, and lake. The outdoor swimming pool is free and open from April to November. There is an excellent restaurant on site.

The Masada and Ein Gedi Nature Reserve sites are nearby. Jerusalem is a 1-hour drive away. The staff will assist you with tours around the Kibbutz and the beautiful natural surroundings.

 

Isrotel Ganim Hotel Dead Sea

Isrotel Ganim Hotel is set on the shores of the Dead Sea, in Ein Bokek's tourist area, a 2-minute walk from the beach. It offers spa treatments and 2 indoor swimming pools with sea water. Parking and WiFi are free.

Isrotel Ganim Hotel Dead Sea's spa is complete with 2 hot tubs, a dry sauna, and sensory showers. An outdoor fresh-water swimming pool and a children's pool are also available.

A selection of cheese, eggs, pastries and salad feature in the generous breakfast buffet. The restaurant serves a selection of meat and fish dishes, as well as vegetarian options.

All rooms are air-conditioned and offer a private bathroom with bath and shower. The property features 2 free ironing areas available for guests, as well as a private beach, which you can reach with the hotel's shuttle.

It takes approximately one hour and a half to drive to Jerusalem, and 30 minutes to the city of Arad.

 

HI - Ein Gedi Hostel

Set in the entrance of Ein Gedi's National Park, HI - Ein Gedi Hostel offers modern rooms and dormitories. It is located 0.6 mi north of Ein Gedi Kibbutz. WiFi is free throughout.

Rooms at the HI - Ein Gedi come with a tea/coffee maker, and some feature a TV and a private balcony with sea views.

The Ein Gedi Botanical Gardens are 2.2 mi away, while the Ancient Synagogue is a 15-minute walk from the hostel. The Ein Gedi Spa is reachable by car in 6 minutes.
