The current research projects are focused on developing new methods for characterizing normal and cancerous tissue in breast, prostate and pancreas by means of new non-invasive magnetic resonance imaging techniques. The studies involve clinical investigations of healthy volunteers, as well as of patients with suspicious pathologies, primarily cancer. Specific efforts are directed towards the improvement of early detection of cancer using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) The clinical studies are conducted on campus using a 3T scanner, and in several medical centers in Israel and abroad (list of collaborations).
