I am interested in the history of Earth and planetary systems. Specifically, my research is driven by questions about the evolution of global biogeochemical cycles, their effect on the chemical composition and oxidation state of the atmosphere and oceans, and their interaction with planetary climate on multiple timescales. To address interesting problems, I combine theory, models, observation and experiment.
