PLD Projects

Finished projects:

1. Dye Screening controller: This device controls an experiment setup that allows illumination shutters controlling and triggering for photo diode sampling in order to check new chemical dyes that are used in our lab. This project uses the Altera EP610 EPLD. It was developed with Intel's PLDshell Plus V4.0.
   

2. Behaving monkey interface unit: This unit latched short spikes for later detection and operate solenoids to pass reward juice to a monkey. This project uses the Altera EP610 EPLD. It was developed with Intel's PLDshell Plus V4.0.
   

3. Syringe Alarm controller: This device controls a buzzer based on an alarm that is generated by a Syringe Pump made by KDS.  This project uses the Altera EP610 EPLD. It was developed with Intel's PLDshell Plus V4.0.
