Quantum Optics
We are interested in light that has special quantum properties and its application to spectroscopy and imaging.
We have shown that the ideas and techniques used for quantum coherent control can be used to manipuilated nonclassical light.
We demonstrated the shaping of single photons (or rather the correlation between two entangled photons).
We have also demonstrated new ways to form NOON states - highly entangled multiphoton 'Schrodinger Cat' states, and studied ways to characterize them. We have studied the spatial correlation of photons and their modification by spatial potentials and nonlinear effects. Below are our publications in the field of quantum optics. |
