About Us

The Kirk Center for Childhood Cancer and Immunological Disorders was founded in 2006. Its primary objectives are to advance our understanding of a wide variety of childhood diseases, and immunological disorders such as asthma, allergies, acquired immunodeficiencies, and various aspects of inflammation and immune system deregulation.

To contribute to these important goals, the Kirk Center supports early stage, cutting-edge biomedical research projects, initiates clinical collaborations, provides vital instrumentation, and organizes meetings and symposia on related topics.
