The Science Teaching Library is located on the 2nd floor of the Musher building, adjacent to the Feinberg graduate school.(Building 33).
The Science Teaching Library is one of five libraries of the Weizmann Institute of Science forming the Library System. It serves faculty and Institute members, students, staff, participants of Institute educational programs and schools.
Collection
The Science Teaching Library collection offers a wide range of books and journals for junior high school, high school and first college year in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology, including students' manuals and teachers' guides. Books on research on teaching and evaluation, and on cognitive psychology, history of science and other topics can also be found in this library.

The books are shelved by Dewey Decimal Classification numbers.
The journals are shelved alphabetically by title. A current journal display in the left side of the library holds the current year issues.The Library System also provides students, faculty, and staff with access to electronic resources including electronic journals, online databases, and the virtual reference shelf.

Book Lending - Rules for borrowing books
Book renewal can be done personally, by phone (ext. 2495,) or by e-mail when no other reader is waiting for the book.
Notices about overdue books are sent by e-mail.Loss, damage, and late return of books
Returning books before leaving the Institute
Staff members, students, and visiting scientists leaving the Institute should return all books borrowed from the relevant libraries before receiving a clearance signature on the appropriate form required upon leaving the Institute. Library orientation instructions are given to new students at the beginning of each academic year.
New students should attend the library instruction course sessions provided by the Feinberg Graduate School at the beginning of the first semester and during the second semester.
The Information Retrieval Unit can assist you with questions regarding databases, electronic journals, patents, online searches, managing your personal database, self archiving, etc.Purchasing (various options)
The library is responsible for initiating orders for new material for its own collection, for ordering books for scientists, which is now initiated by the scientist using internal services, as well as for purchasing books to be reserved for courses (check Request forms).

Self service (by staff and students)
A photocopy machine which belongs to the Science teaching department is located next to the librarians' desk. Cost is IS 0.30 per page.
Service by order (performed by library staff in either print copy or PDF formats).
Computers
The Library provides a workstation (PC) for Library users.
Printing options are not provided in the library.
Material can be downloaded on disk-on-key, or sent to e-mail addresses only.
