RSC vouchers may be used to publish an article that has been accepted by RSC as Open Access without incurring the standard article fees. Articles that have already been published in an RSC journal can be retroactively republished as open access using the vouchers. For a list of RSC Voucher codes follow this link.
RSC Open Access Licences
RSC offers Creative Commons licensing for open access publication in all of its publications. These licenses have flexible terms and enable authors to fulfill funding body requirements. This license also grants deposition rights that enable the author to deposit the PDF version in an institutional repository with no embargo period. The Library pays membership fees to publishers allowing scientists, to pay reduced fees when publishing an OA article. Wiley, Oxford University Press, NAR: Nucleic acids research, and BioMed are among the included publishers.
The library encourages authors to stipulate in their contracts that OA be available within the institution. If this is done, the full text of the article can be made available online to researchers by the library.

AIP Publishing no longer requires authors to transfer their copyright, please see: License to Publish Agreement.
The new license enables authors to retain copyright and encourages them to post and share their accepted manuscripts immediately on acceptance.
