| 3D Modeling of Pancreatic Development Harel's lab This research aims to create an interactive 3D simulation of the pancreas development using the Reactive Animation (RA) concept. Currently, we are in the process of modeling the developmental molecular processes such as growth, branching, and differentiation, using the language of statechart and its implementation in Rhapsody. We aim to design a suitable 3D animated front-end that will visualize the molecular processes and the morphogenesis of the pancreas during the prenatal development. The comprehensive 3D reactive animation simulation might eventually help in an effort to build a sort of in-silico organ, and may lead to better understanding of pancreatic development and to new insights about pancreas-related diseases. ![]() ![]() |
