The Kupcinet - Getz Science School
for International and Israeli Students
The Kupcinet-Getz Science School was established in 1971 in memory of Karyn Kupcinet by her parents, the late, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Kupcinet of Chicago, Illinois, USA and expanded in 2001 in memory of Emma and Oscar Getz, through their two co-executors: Mr. William Getz and Mr. Ralph Silver. The Weizmann Institute of Science's annual Kupcinet-Getz International Science School will accept a select number of outstanding undergraduate students to participate in research projects in mathematics, physics, chemistry and life sciences during the summer of 2011.

The students study under the guidance of Scientific Personnel during their summer holidays, participating in the research project to which they have been assigned.
