The lab of Prof. Ilan Lampl is seeking highly creative and driven postdoctoral fellows interested in revealing the cellular and network mechanisms of cortical dynamics in awake behaving mice.

We have established new approaches to study the activity and impact of long range axonal connections in local cortical networks using 2P imaging and intracellular recordings in awake head-fixed mice. Our aims are to use this approaches in order to reveal the roles of various neuromodulatory systems in shaping the acitivty local cortical activity and how they affect perception and learning.

Studying tactile perception in mice using cutting edge methods, including cellular physiology Neuropixels, 2P imaging and other approaches.
