The Molecular Physics group at the Weizmann Institute of Science is dealing mainly with subjects related to the fundamental understanding of molecular dynamics and structure, as well as with the dynamics of ions in traps.

The molecular physics group at WIS is a member of the European ITS-LEIF project. The ITS-LEIF project is a scientific network which deals with in the field of low-energy-ion-beams physics. There are 5 major infrastructures which constitute this organization: ARIBE (France), H-EBIT (Germany), ZERNIKE-LEIF (Netherlands), ELISA (Denmark), QU-LEIF (Ireland). One of the major goals of ITS-LEIF is the promotion and the integration of young scientists.
