Present Research Activities

bullet

Our most recent activity is to investigate and simulate the production, extraction and utilization of light radio-isotopes in nuclear astrophysics research, and fundamental nuclear and neutrino physics.

bullet

Measuring the electromagnetic moments of isomeric states in far-from-stability nuclei (projectile fragmentation and the subsequent aligned beam) using TDPAD methods.

bullet

The field of nuclear astrophysics, conducting experiments crucial to the understanding of nucleosynthesis processes and of the energy generation in astrophysical objects.

bullet

Measuring magnetic moments of the ground state of mirror nuclei using the tilted foil polarization and b-NMR techniques.

bullet

Coulomb excitation of post-accelerated radioactive beams from REX-ISOLDE.

bullet

Studying nuclei with extreme values of iso-spin in far-from-stability nuclei.
