In order to meet the financial requirements of the National Postdoctoral Award Program for Advancing Women in Science, the Weizmann Institute requires $225,000 for each cycle year, or two $450,000 for the two concurrent cycles (as it is a two-year program). This is based on 10 to 12 recipients per year of $20,000 per fellowship for each of two years ($40,000 in total for each recipient).

An infusion of philanthropic resources is needed to ensure adequate funding each year.  The Weizmann Institute is seeking commitments for two-year fellowships in the amount of $40,000 each, or for larger amounts that can cover substantial portions of the program.

In appreciation of a donor’s generous gift, each fellowship will bear the name of the donor for this period. In addition, donors will be acknowledged in publications associated with the fellowship program.
