The Braun Center for Submicron Research (SMC) at the Weizmann Institute
of Science has been selected for Transnational Access (TA)
funding under the Sixth Framework Program (FP6) of the European
Commission (EC). Under this program, access to the infrastructure at the
Braun Center is provided for user groups from the European
member states and associate countries. The program will extend
from March 1st 2004 through February 28th 2008, and cover visitors'
travel and subsistence costs for periods of one week to three
months. The program will encourage visits of scientists who
are working in regions of the European community where few
such research infrastructures exist.
