A large variety of optical measurements and studies of semiconductor layers and mesoscopic structures are performed in the optical laboratories. Photoluminescence (PL), Photoluminescence excitation (PLE), extremely low temperature (down to 10mK) PL, time and specially resolve PL and PLE, absorption, near field spectroscopy, and photo current measurements are all done in the optical laboratory at the submciron center
