The transport laboratories in the submicron center, where all the electronic properties of the submicron devices are measured at ultra low temperatures, are equipped with state of the art crygenic and electronic systems. These include dilution refrigerators going down to a temperature of 8mK as well as systems for measuring extremely low noise electronic signals. The overall setup in these laboratories allows students and stuff to perform experiments on the cutting edge of mesoscopic physics
