Adventures exploring a wild River, the Temple of Pan at Banyas, Ice cold waterfalls and pools
You would never expect that there would be roaring waterfalls of freezing cold water in the middle of August in Israel

On our way to the far north of Israel, we took a leg-stretching break among the fish pools at Ma'agan Michael
and made new friends at the Good Fence in Metula.
On Friday afternoon, we had great fun in Nahal Rhatsbani.

Pan, the ancient god of shepherds and the forest, gave his name to Banyas reserve.

Our steps than took us to Roman remains at Banyas :
a romantic bridge,
and a fairly-well conserved temple.
Inspired travelers taking a break before buying some delicious druze pitot filled with lebane cheese and seasoned with za'hatar and olive oil.

When we last saw it, Sean's boat was bravely sailing on Nahal Banyas towards the Mediterrean Sea.
