Raison D'Etre
The Excursion Club was formed in order to help people who want to see more of Israel to get together and organize their trips. This applies especially to foreign students who haven't seen much of the country and don't have a car or friends to do it with.
This is NOT an official branch of the Weizmann, and we are NOT responsible for the welfare of the people who participate - this is just a forum for people to get together.
COST
Cost is split like this:
Cost for renting cars is split between everybody who does not own a car - no point punishing people for bringing a car!
Cost for gas is generally split between the people in a car. It is simpler and the difference from splitting it over the whole group shouldn't be that big.
FOOD
Food - bring your own! Or organize it by the car, if you want.
TO JOIN
If you are interested in joining, please write to the exclub reps at exclub@weizmann.ac.il and include your telephone/pelephone number and if you have a car or not.
If you want to go on a trip, you have to tell us by one week before the trip so that we can arrange cars and everything.
If you can carry a gun or are a medic, that is especially useful.
